Trump says government can ‘work with’ illegal immigrants

Tuesday segment: Hannity asked Trump if there was any part of his immigration proposal that he’d be willing to change to accommodate law-abiding undocumented immigrants with children living in the United States. That being said, I don’t think it’s reasonable to say you’re going to round up and deport 11 million people.

He began by taking a poll, asking supporters if they want to kick out illegal immigrant families who are “great people”, contribute to our country and have lived here peacefully for 25 years. He’s probably not going to build the wall. But in an interview broadcast on Fox News Channel, he said that while he would not allow citizenship, he would “work with” those in the country illegally. “You have the right to have a good job”.

“There certainly can be a softening because we’re not looking to hurt people, we want people – we have some great people in this country”, Trump said.

The Republican presidential candidate has been working to soften the anti-illegal immigration tone that became a hallmark of his primary campaign in the past week. Trump will have a narrow path to the White House without winning the Sunshine State, where he owns several resorts and which he dubbed “his second home” on Wednesday. You pay taxes. You don’t receive federal government assistance.

After asking this question of his audience two more times, Trump was asked, “So, you’re saying there is – and you have been sort of indicating that there’ll be some flexibility that you – originally you had said they were all out, and there was a big brouhaha, but you’re saying that if somebody can prove that they’ve been here, proven to be a citizen, but here’s the big question, though, no citizenship?” At this point, that’s not exactly clear because he’s offered few specifics.

Trump suggested that Hispanics have been taken for granted by Democrats.

“Hispanics are exhausted of being used by these phony politicians”, Trump roared above the rumbles of a thunderstorm audible inside.

Donald Trump and his surrogates hint at a mysterious “illness” afflicting rival Hillary Clinton. “I will fix it”. “You’re going to have a deportation force, and you’re going to do it humanely”, Trump told MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

“It’s not a reversal, there’s no change”, Coulter said. But you know I get it, I get it. “In fact, I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton if she paid me”, he added.

Additional details about Trump’s visit to Phoenix were not immediately released.

Farage meanwhule drew parallels between the Brexit movement and the support Trump has received from many Americans who feel left behind by Washington. They weren’t authorized to speak on the record about campaign plans.

Farage noted that his movement was an underdog in public opinion polls but triumphed in Britain’s June 23 referendum.

“If [Trump] got rid of deporting illegals altogether, which he is not, it would still be better than any Republican who has run for president in my lifetime”, she said.
