The official said the flight, which took off from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai around 2 a.m., was diverted to Kazakhstan where it landed safely at 7.30 a.m.

The airline official also told NDTV that “at times, perishable commodity in the cargo hold lead to such a situation when the alarm goes off”. Hence, a relief aircraft is being dispatched, the source said.
