Google may have rolled out Android M to developers for quite some time now, but as usual, the company is keeping its mouth shut about what sweet treat Android M will be named after.

While the video doesn’t really give any hints as to what the Android M update will officially be called, it does tell us to “Stay tuned…”, hinting that the name will be revealed soon.
Android M was announced several months ago and as it stands, it still exists as a single alphabet with “M” standing for anything. I personally think it’s going to be Marshmallow. Google is not likely going to refer to the next iteration of Android as Molasses.
While there weren’t any spoilers in the video, at the very end of the video you can see someone painting what appears to be the next Android lawn statue. Maybe they know what Android M could be, maybe they don’t, but there are plenty of M-related dessert and sweet names in that list that could be worth exploring. Their latest video, for instance, takes a look at what Google might call the next version of Android.
