Bears WR Kevin White could miss season after shin surgery
Bears’ general manager Ryan Pace announced on Thursday that White suffered a setback last week in his recovery from a stress fracture in his shin that occurred during OTAs.

According to Josina Anderson from ESPN, the Bears rookie is expected to miss the first half of the season after undergoing shin surgery.
Prior to the announcement, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook pegged Chicago with a season win total of seven.
It gets worse: There’s a chance White won’t play at all this season.
“If it was up to me, I would be out there”. “But it’s not my call”. “But you’ve got to look at the coaches, trainers and if they say, ‘Kevin, give it another week, ‘ that’s what I have to do”. After the team traded receiver Brandon Marshall to the New York Jets for a fifth round pick in the offseason, it was widely expected that the Bears would draft a receiver with their 7th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Marquess Wilson figures to step into White’s role in the Bears offense, but there could also be additional targets to Eddie Royal. We’re continuing to shy away from White as more than a WR4/5.
