“We don’t have a date on when the codes will be sent”. Today we discovered the size of the beta file that will be required for the installation on Xbox One. That doesn’t leave much time for these Insiders to get a start, so keep checking your inbox.
The Battlefield 1 open beta is nearly here, and a preview on the Xbox One store reveals that the single, playable map requires 6.2 GB of space to run.
“Battlefield 1”, the newest entry in Electronic Arts’ “Battlefield” franchise set in World War I, is finally entering open beta pretty soon. The early-access phase will be centered on one map only: the Sinai Desert mission. The map will feature horses and an armored train as part of the gameplay; the big game-changer is the Armored Train Behemoth that can tip the scales for a team that’s facing defeat.
It follows news of the most recent Battlefield 4 update to land, years after the game officially landed in 2013. Stay tuned for more upcoming news and updates for “Battlefield 1” Beta Play.
“Load up Battlefield 4 on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 and you’ll notice that things look a little bit… different”, a message from DICE explains.
“Besides being a total visual overhaul, there are a number of changes to how you actually play with friends”, says DICE. Although it’s not as game-changing as some of the others, it’ll still distort your vision somewhat, making it harder to detect enemies.
