In collaboration with hip-hop act Run the Jewels, record producer and musician DJ Shadow has released a new music video depicting politicians going at each other’s necks in more ways than the usual metaphorical one.

“We wanted to make a positive, life-affirming video that captures politicians at their election-year best”, DJ Shadow wrote in the video’s YouTube description. Mike said in a recent statement that he won’t be voting for either Hillary or Republican nominee Donald Trump on Election Day come November. The horn layered track features everyone’s favorite, vulgar, political activists/rappers Run the Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P), of which we get a fairly epitomizing few verses of general nonsense. One dude gets molly-wopped, another gets shanked with a broken pencil-basically, all hell breaks loose. He stops just short of stabbing his foe in the chest with it at the end of the video. And Killer Mike, a prominent and long-standing supporter of Bernie Sanders during the primaries, added “It’s such a dope video”. “It’s what I really wish Trump and Hillary would do and get it over with”.
