Adorable photos show sleeping baby all dressed up
The most popular advice that people give new moms is to sleep when the baby sleeps.

She explained: “I would end up just staring at her face all day and night because I was just so in love”.
While Joey sleeps soundly, her mother, photographer Laura Izumikawa, dresses her little one up. At first, she surrounded her daughter, an incredibly deep sleeper, with some props.
Joey has rocked countless looks mid-slumber, like Garth from “Wayne’s World”, Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” outfit and an Olympic Swimmer complete with a gold medal – each look earning her more online love than the last.
The tiniest sushi chef there ever was. Well, this baby seems to have the costume thing all figured out – or at least her mom does.
Laura, an LA-based photographer played up her tot’s nap time by snapping the four-month-old Joey Marie Choi, wearing different costumes, from celebrities like Sia to Axl Rose, cartoon favourites like Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Pikachu, to heroic heartthrobs like Jon Snow, Han Solo, then in different professions from a baker, diver, and even an Olympian swimmer.
Her Instagram page has slowly gained followers, and she has received messages from people telling her how much they enjoyed the photos.
Joey being a cutie pie never creates any mess during the photo shoot, mostly because she is sleeping.

While many of us cringe looking at photos of our infant selves, it’s unlikely baby Joey will have reason to complain. “I think it’s good to be supportive and lift each other as parents, but I also hope parents are reminded to have fun and find the humor in parenting and not take it too seriously”.
