Kings of Leon Album Coming Soon?
After spending a couple of low-key years at home in Nashville – aside from headlining the city’s massive New Year’s Eve celebration – Kings of Leon are ready to reclaim their throne. Their seventh full-length effort, entitled Walls, is set for release on October 14th via RCA Records.

They also confirmed that after six albums working under the eye of Angelo Petralgia, they headed to Los Angeles for this outing to work with Arcade Fire producer Markus Dravs.
Walls follows Kings of Leon’s 2013 record, Mechanical Bull.
Kings Of Leon’s new album will include songs about singer Caleb Followill’s battle with alcohol addiction and his supermodel wife Lily Aldridge. In a press release, the album is said to have tracks that “touch on band members’ personal stories”. “He just said things that nobody had ever said to us”, guitarist Jared Followill told Billboard. “When she tells the story, it’s the scariest thing. We’re still hungry and still young at heart”.
“Over” traces back to a hard period in 2011 when Kings of Leon were forced to cancel a tour while Followill dealt with his addiction.

“That song is very personal, and to the people involved who know what that song’s about, it’s like ‘Holy s**t!’, he explained”.
