Man City chief Txiki: We’ll help Hart find new club

The Chile worldwide has become City’s 11th signing of the transfer window and is expected to start ahead of England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who was dropped by Guardiola for the first three games of the season.

However, he did make his first appearance of the season in Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Steaua Bucharest, keeping a clean sheet and finishing the match with a flawless pass completion rate.

“You can’t think when I was in Barcelona, in (Bayern) Munich all my decisions were right”.

“This is a special place for me and there has never been any secret of that, it’s a place I love to be”.

With the transfer deadline day less than a week away, Hart was asked about his possible destinations to which he replied, “It’s not for me to say”.

Bravo played for Colo Colo in his native Chile until 2006, when he joined Spain’s Real Sociedad on the recommendation of Xabier Mancisidor, who is now City’s goalkeeping coach.

“Tonight I played for Man City and I’ve enjoyed it and I have done every time I have played for Man City”, he said.

But that 1-0 victory could be his final game for the club after he saluted all four sides of the ground in what appeared to be a farewell to fans.

“We have a top manager that the club has wanted for a long, long time”, said the England goalkeeper, who was making his first competitive appearance of the season.

City will play a sixth straight season in Europe’s elite competition after beating Steaua Bucharest 1-0 thanks to Fabian Delph’s 56th-minute goal and completing a 6-0 win on aggregate.

Juan Mata has warned Manchester United not to underestimate Hull ahead of their trip to the surprise high-flyers, while Claudio Bravo’s footwork will be in the spotlight if Manchester City’s new goalkeeper makes his debut against West Ham. “I really appreciate the people of Man City and it turns out they appreciate me”.

“We got a win against the odds, and then lost against the odds”, Burnley boss Sean Dyche said.
