Sashi Brown: Cleveland Browns ‘not looking to trade Josh Gordon’
The Cleveland Browns flaunted their twin towers at receiver Tuesday in a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Florida, and they’re not interested in breaking Josh Gordon and Terrelle Pryor apart. And right after that game, they get Gordon back, just in time as the Patriots travel to Cleveland for a Week 5 matchup that could be the test the comeback kids need to prove to the rest of the league that they’re the real deal.

With his four game suspension in mind, our models have Gordon as our 42nd-ranked fantasy wide receiver, projecting him for 58 receptions, 820 yards and 4.28 touchdowns. He’s just 25. That’s two years younger than Julio Jones and three years younger than Antonio Brown.
Washington head coach Jay Gruden is optimistic that first-round pick Josh Doctson, who is working his way back from an Achilles injury, is expected to be ready for the season opener. There’s a lot of movement between teams and players and everything. Gordon (quadriceps) and Coleman (hamstring) sat out the first two preseason games, but have returned to practice.
Colts head coach Chuck Pagano was asked about the status of his secondary and he was brutally honest.
“It’s a little scary”, Pagano said, via George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin. “It’s not pretty right now”. Of course, the proof will be in the pudding, and he is unlikely to even start this year. Still, Bovada.lv has them as the favorite to win the division (+140), and a 7.5:1 favorite to win the AFC.
“Well, he’s battling”, said Koetter, who has also praised Dye for his 31-yard kickoff return in last Saturday’s game in Jacksonville”.
Tulloch joins the Eagles following a five-year stint with the Detroit Lions (2011-15). The 31-year-old linebacker was originally selected in the fourth round (116th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, where he spent the first five seasons of his pro career (2006-10). The duo repeatedly appeared with the starting offense during 11-on-11 drills.
Gordon, 25, is suspended for the first four games to start the regular season, but the National Football League is allowing him to participate in team activities during the ban. The team now holds 10 in next year’s draft. Additionally, Tulloch has produced 100-plus tackles six times over the last seven years. He’ll serve a four-game ban before he’s able to play in 2016.
With Tulloch’s signing, the Eagles now have 84 players on their current roster.
He’s obviously long in the tooth, but he’s going into the best possible situation with Jim Schwartz. Williams has taken snaps as the first-team option at nickel and second-team at outside cornerback.

Griffin said he wouldn’t think in terms of talent but rather in terms of making the right read and throwing the ball to the right guy, but even in talking about that approach he showed the feeling about the potential with the receiving group.
