Amber Alert issued for Luzerne County girl
An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old girl from Nescopeck.

Google Public Alerts said Ava last seen on Vine Street in Nescopeck Borough at 12:30 a.m.
Ava Byrne, 3, and Robert Byrne are the subjects of an Amber Alert issued August 26, 2016, out of Luzerne County, Penn.
She was allegedly abducted by Robert Byrne, 24, who is 5-foot 9-inches tall and weighs 215 pounds. She has brown hair.
State police at Shickshinny are searching for Ava Byrne, a three-year-old white, girl with brown hair. The alert also applies in NY. Byrne was driving a 2004 silver Hyundai Elantra with Pa. license plate HKB-4681. The police say the suspect took the child under circumstances that lead them to believe the child is in imminent danger.
