Cowboys owner mad after Ezekiel Elliott seen at weed dispensary

Marijuana is legal in Washington state, and there’s nothing wrong with just visiting the shop; many tourists do so when in town.

The quarterback lasted just 90 seconds into the Cowboys’ 27-17 preseason loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night before leaving with what appeared at first to be a potentially significant injury, but ended up being minor.

“It’s just not good, ” Jones said.

In the last two seasons, the Cowboys are 15-4 when Romo starts and just 1-12 when he is unable to play.

In addition, Elliott is under investigation by the Columbus, Ohio, attorney’s office for a domestic abuse allegation that he denies. The TMZ report indicated that Elliott only browsed like a tourist. He was not seen making a purchase.

“I just think everyone had a scare”, Jones said.

Jones realizes that even though Elliott didn’t break any rules on Thursday, the young player needs to be aware that everything he does adds to the public’s perception of him. “No matter if you played at whatever level there is a picture here of interest”. Elliott has denied the allegations and witnesses at the scene have said it didn’t happen.

The Cowboys have dealt with their share of drug-related suspensions already this year, losing defensive end Demarcus Lawrence for four games, linebacker Rolando McClain for 10 games and defensive end Randy Gregory for at least 10 games.
