Found safely in New Mexico were Harvill’s three children: her 5-year-old daughter Rylee Watkins; 3 year-old son Brayden Watkins, and 2-year-old Joslynn Watkins.
Humphrey and Robertson, who authorities had said should be considered armed and risky, were found after officers from the Pueblo Police Department were conducting an unrelated investigation at a local motel where they were staying, the sheriff’s department said.
Police are asking for help from the public finding two adults and three children from California.
Joshua Robertson and Brittany Humphrey were last seen with Kimberly Harvill’s three minor children. He is not the biological father, despite previous reports.
Harvill was involved with methamphetamine, as were Humphrey and Robertson, Katz said. Harvill’s body was found August 14 by a motorist who had made a rest stop on Gorman Post Road, just north of the 138 Freeway, in the northwest area of the county.
The couple had been on the run, wanted in the alleged kidnapping of Harvill’s three children.
Humphrey is Harvill’s half-sister, and therefore the children’s aunt.
Humphrey and Robertson are considered persons of interest in her killing.
She had suffered head wounds and multiple gunshots to the torso.
They believe Robertson and Humphrey took the kids after killing Harvill.
The couple, formerly of Fresno, had been moving “from motel to motel” and were staying in Lebec just before Harvill’s murder, according to police.
Robertson and Humphrey was each arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, Mendoza said.
LA County sheriff’s homicide Lt Joe Mendoza said that ‘it is suspicious that they did not come forward to law enforcement and instead fled’.
“They were known to go from motel to motel”, Mendoza said.
It took authorities four days to identify Kimberly Harvill, who had been shot multiple times, because she had no identification on her, officials said.

The couple is believed to be in Harvill’s 1999 green Ford Expedition, which has California plates 7BEK024 that may have been swapped for temporary paper tags, stick-figure stickers of a family and a sticker that reads “R.I.P. Chad Watkins”.
