Tubs of Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough recalled over fears they
Hundreds of 500ml Cookie Dough pots are feared to have been contaminated with small shards of metal.

Anyone who bought a Cookie Dough carton is being told to check batch numbers and avoid eating it.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued a product recall on Ben & Jerry’s 500ml Cookie Dough Ice Cream sold within the United Kingdom and Ireland.
These four batch codes listed are for only for Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough 500ml products available in the UK & Ireland.
The ice cream brand issued an “important safety notice” in several national newspapers this morning with details of the recall, which Ben & Jerry’s is doing voluntarily.
There are four different batches of the ice cream thought to be affected.
The affected bates codes are: L62110L011, L62111L011, L62112L011 and L62113L011.
The recall applies to 500ml “Cookie Dough” ice cream with an expiry date of January 2018.
No other Ben & Jerry’s products are known to have been affected and any customers who have concerns can contact 1800 946272.
