Man City to help Hart find a new club – Begiristain

The Chile global completed a £13.75million move from Barcelona to City this week and was expected to be installed immediately as Pep Guardiola’s new number one.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola warned goalkeeping outcast Joe Hart on Friday that he is not even guaranteed a place on the bench if he fails to leave the club.

Hart faces an inglorious end to his 10-year City career, but he was given a hero’s reception by the club’s fans when he made his first start of the season in Wednesday’s Champions League win over Steaua Bucharest.

After the match, Hart declined to say that the game was his last for the English club, but added that he was confident he and his new manager would reach a solution regarding his future.

He was also part of the UEFA Champions League-winning squad in 2015, but never played in the competition for Barca.

Bravo is in contention to make his City debut against West Ham on Sunday, although Barcelona have invited the two-time Copa America victor to say a formal farewell to their fans during this season.

Everton host Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday. “He’s a good player for us”. “I am so happy with the squad”. “I’m so confident. I trust a lot in them”. We’ll let you be the judge of that.

With just days left to go before the transfer window slams shut (it always slams, it never just closes) a number of clubs are still in the hunt for that last piece of the puzzle that will complete their season. He deserves what he deserves. Some of them we have taken a decision on and they know that and their managers know that.

“After West Ham we will continue to speak to [director of football] Txiki [Begiristain] and we are going to see what the situation is for them”.

Hart is no longer first choice at Manchester City under new coach Pep Guardiola, with the Spaniard preferring Willy Caballero for his first three games in charge at City.

Argentinian Caballero wore the No 1 jersey for both of City’s opening two Premier League fixtures this season, with Bravo expected to replace his fellow South American when he becomes acclimatised in the north-west.

The Spanish tactician is a fan of not only ball-playing center halves but also ball-playing goalkeepers, a profile that Joe Hart doesn’t seem to fit. “That was a really special night for me”, Hart, City’s captain for the night, told BT Sport.
