315 days later, Liverpool are sharper and steelier ahead of Tottenham test

Klopp has been impressed with his performances in training but there has been an element of Liverpool’s fan base that have questioned the England international’s performances in the two Premier League games against Arsenal and Burnley.

Writing in the Mirror, Stan Collymore has once again suggested he can see problems arising between Jurgen Klopp and Daniel Sturridge. “They are different to us, we like to manage ball, play in possession, play in opposition half – we are a different team with a different philosophy”.

Ignore Conte, Guardiola or Mourinho, these two bosses know how they want their sides to set up and tend to execute it to perfection, with intelligent selections and fearless decisions.

Expect an entertaining contest, with the nets certainly being rippled more than they were the last time we saw this fixture.

Southampton v Sunderland- Saturday- 3:00PM- Southampton 2-1 Sunderland- David Moyes’ Sunderland are without a point yet and I can see that carrying on as they make the long trip down to the south coast to face a Southampton team who showed signs in some areas last week against Man United.

“There are more reasons for not being successful and it keeps these players always trying to convince everyone”. There are some players who are always asking their agent “is anyone interested in me?”

“Stay cool, try to play football, it is not that hard”. “Now there are quality players in defence, in midfield, on the wing and other players who can still improve like Divock [Origi], Phil [Coutinho] can improve, even Roberto [Firmino] can make the next step. Not only for Jordan but for other players”.

Tottenham haven’t beaten Liverpool in their last seven Premier League meetings and have looked a bit sluggish so far this season, despite picking up four points, so at 11/5 for the win we’re going with Liverpool in tomorrow’s early kick-off.

“We are working on the deals”.

The 11/1 win price they’re being quoted at looks very generous but that is of course taking the Pep Effect and the Hammers’ struggles in front of goal into account.

“Because for a lot of players it was their first season, like Dele Alli, for Eric Dier it was his first complete season as a holding midfielder, a new position for him, different things like that”.

While Spurs surpassed expectations last season, Pochettino said that was a learning season, and that this term the team would show something closer to their real level.

Only two Liverpool players have scored hat-tricks at Tottenham – Billy Liddell in 1951 and Roger Hunt in 1964. Maybe it is very different as we have a different philosophy in the way that we work, and we create our own philosophy.
