Bravo s Man City arrival signals Hart exit

Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is set for a medical at Manchester City.

Guardiola, however, would not deny Bravo is poised to join City in the coming days.

“From the beginning I arrive here with a lot of information and I analyse what I see on the pitch and off the pitch, especially in the locker room”, he told reporters after the game.

Guardiola doesn’t think Hart is good enough with his feet, has told the England global he can leave, and has played Willy Caballero ahead of Hart so far this season. Barcelona were the first ones to announce contact with Manchester City. Against West Ham it is not possible for him to play.

The Chilean global is reportedly flying in from Spain to finalise a £17m ($22.4m) switch from Barcelona that will see him become the club’s new first-choice goalkeeper. It’s not done. It’s 90 minutes with a big advantage, but I said to the players, “Sorry guys, we aren’t in the Champions League already”.

Speculation Hart could leave City before next week’s transfer deadline is intensifying, although Everton’s apparent interest has reportedly cooled. I was honest with Joe, the club and all the players in the squad.

“We spoke about football”, said Guardiola who was photographed talking to Hart during training ahead of City’s Champions League qualifying tie with Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday.

Guardiola is sure to rotate heavily in this fixture; however, I still expect a City victory and odds of 15/8 on a home win with both teams scoring and 6/5 on +3.5 goals appeal.

The announcement was made by Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez, who confirmed that Barca had received an offer for the 33-year-old Chilean which they have chose to accept. I’m not involved to speak. “I will make some rotations with the players”.

“I would like all my decision to make everyone happy but it is impossible”.

But City do not want him sitting around earning £135,000 a week when he is not playing.

“Everything is fluid. When the goalkeeper, the full-backs and the centre-backs can do this, it is easier”.

It is conceivable some of them could be moving on.
