Additional rain today and tonight.

Scattered storms that do develop have the potential for some strong wind gusts, although I do not expect a widespread event at this point.
Locally heavy rain will be the primary concern from these off-and-on storms, according to the National Weather Service, but isolated severe storms can’t be ruled out. There is a very small chance an afternoon thunderstorm develops but most areas are dry under mostly sunny skies.
In the Omaha area today, conditions should be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Saturday most areas see highs in the middle and upper 80s, while we nudge temperatures up a bit closer to 90 degrees on Sunday.
Most of next week looks dry and pleasant, with highs in the low 80s (28 degrees Celsius), and overnight lows in the low 60s (16-17 degrees Celsius). The weather service said that slight chance of showers and thunderstorms sticks around Sunday night, along with a low around 69.

Due to clouds and moisture daytime temps will likely remain in the mid to upper 80s Thursday through Saturday.
