Pence cuts ribbon at only Trump office in his home state

Pence appeared at the grand opening of a Trump-Pence campaign headquarters and delivered remarks that varied only slightly from the standard stump speech that he gives in battleground states.

It always has and it always will, but it’s especially true this year.

Pence, a former six-term USA representative, struck a humble tone, telling the crowd his only goal in life had been to represent his hometown of Columbus, Indiana in Congress.

Most national polls show Democrat Hillary Clinton leading the race.

“Nobody is above the law. They will work hard to make America great again”, said supporter Irma Frye. “The time has come Hillary Clinton should shut down the Clinton Foundation right now and the Obama administration should appoint a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of what happened at the Clinton Foundation”.

“In North Carolina, we need to think about that. We need to think about what that means for the God-given liberties that are enshrined in our Constitution and our founding documents”, he said.

“Donald Trump and I know we haven’t been tough, we haven’t been smart in defending American jobs and American workers”, he said. Pence’s speech lasted about 30 minutes and he wasted little time attacking the economic policies of the Obama administration.

“I admire him and look forward to seeing him”, Perdue said, adding that a visit to Robins Air Force Base could be on Pence’s itinerary.

“I like to say Donald Trump gets it”, Pence said. “America needs to be strong for the world to be safe”.

Jennifer Hazelton, Georgia communications director for the Trump campaign, said she could not confirm any additional campaign stops in Georgia on Monday. “This movement is ready”, Pence said. “He speaks his mind and the American people hear him loud and clear”.

“We’re fighting each and every day in this economy”.

Jose Hernandez Paris, who heads the Latin American Coalition in Charlotte, said Trump’s change in tone still leaves many immigrants concerned.
