Beauty And The Beast

For the most part, Disney has kept Beauty and the Beast hype to a minimum. If both characters look this intricate and ornate, then who knows what Mrs. Potts and Chip, as well the whole house of characters, will look like.

Beauty and the Beast releases in theatres on March 17th, 2017. Seriously, this design is wonderful.

When it comes to that animated clock and candelabra, Morrissey cautioned that “these designs are close but may not be final”, but those images embedded above are still an intriguing look at how Disney has modernized two of its most iconic characters. According to Beauty and the Beast producer Jack Morrisey’s comments on his Facebook page, this image is only “concept art”.

Also included in the post were a few set photos, featuring footage of what appears to be Gaston (Luke Evans) singing about his fame in the pub.

Beauty and the Beast looks to be absolutely faithful to the beloved animated classic than a new reinvention.As you can see from the images of Beast and Gaston, they are sticking faithfully to the original. With the recent trend of live action Disney films, such as The Jungle Book and Cinderella, we were just waiting to see when Beauty and the Beast would officially be making the live action transition to the big screen. “As this photo shows, Dan Stevens has the right amount of brawn and the charming good looks to play the Beast”.

It’ll be some time yet before we see Cogsworth and Lumiere – and indeed the entire cast – in action, with only a minute-long teaser for Beauty and the Beast snippet now out in the wild.
