Samsung Galaxy Note 7 lets you unlock your phone with iris recognition
The Note 7 will be available in Black, Silver, Gold and Blue when it launches.

Aside from the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung had a few other devices to reveal as well.
The device also has a 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera and five-megapixel front-facing camera.
But for the Note 7 Samsung’s refined it, with a slightly less curvy look and it’s stronger, thanks to brand new Gorilla Glass 5 and 7000 Series aluminium.
Revealed for the first time to audiences at the Galaxy Unpacked event in NY, the 5.7 inch phablet features a dual curved display, a feature it inherits from the S7 Edge.
One of the major feature of the Note 7 is an Iris biometric sensor, which is compatible with Samsung’s Knox technology that enables better security functions. This is the first phone from Samsung having a USB-C type port. As for the internals, both the Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7’s USA version have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM. The Note 7 will also have a more accurate and faster S-Pen stylus.
While the iris scanner sounds pleasingly high-tech, I doubt that it could be as convenient as a fingerprint scanner.
This is good news already despite the delay because the previous Note 5 wasn’t even released in the continent a year ago.
According to Samsung Taiwan, the brand ranked as the largest vendor in the Taiwan market in terms of smartphone models with a display larger than 5-inches during the period between January 2015 and June 2016.
Accessories: The Note 5 will come with the Note7 S Pen that lets you write on the screen without unlocking your phone, and a slew of other features. The Smartphone in note series scheduled to be released on 19 of August has not disappointed at all. The best thing is that it has micro SD card support slots, of which Samsung Note 5 didn’t have.

For a limited time, Verizon customers who buy Galaxy Note7 or Galaxy S7 Edge can get a free Gear Fit2 or a Samsung 256GB memory card to enhance their device. The smartphone will go on pre-order today and sales in the United States officially start from the 19 August.
