Ryan Lochte Is Heading To Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With the Stars returns to ABC on Monday, September 12. A so-called “insider” told the magazine that it will be great for Ryan’s image. After all, the 12-time Olympic medalist was condemned for exaggerating a true story, as he declared that he fabricated a report that he and three teammates on the US swim team were held up at gunpoint by men with badges. He’s still an Olympic champion!

Following the Olympic swimmer’s robbery scandal in Rio, word comes that Lochte has signed on as a contestant with the popular reality show.

If you thought Ryan Lochte was going to tell his huge lie and fade quietly into the night, guess again. “Some pros from back, back in the day, so I’m excited”. I doubt it, but check out the details below in our Dancing with the Stars 2016 spoilers!

ABC has not yet confirmed Babyface’s and Jolé’s casting, but the complete “Dancing With the Stars” Season 23 official lineup is expected to be unveiled on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, Aug. 30. As public opinion surrounding Lochte is at an all-time low (somehow even worse than after What Would Ryan Lochte Do?) this could be his shot to get back in our good graces.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy took a break from “Dancing with the Stars” after winning season 18. Video from the station does not show the swimmers entering the bathroom, however.

“I over-exaggerated this story, and if I hadn’t done that we wouldn’t be in this mess”.

Murgatroyd and her dancing partner Nyle DiMarco were the winners of Season 22 of “Dancing with the Stars”. ABC has not commented on which celebrities it is in talks with about next season.

Meanwhile the other pros returning with the Chmerkovskiy brothers are Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber, Allison Holker and Gleb Savchenko.
