LG V20 to Ship after Upcoming Nexus Devices

By now you must know that not all phones can be updated to a certain OS version because of several requirements and limits. Google Inc. launched the latest version of its mobile OS, christened Android Nougat or Android 7.0, according to Wired. Google pitched these to the Unicode Consortium that controls emjoi standards across devices and operating systems, but they aren’t set to arrive until later this year. It is recommended that if you haven’t updated your Nexus to Android Nougat yet, you wait for a bit and go through the general feedback about the performance of the update on your device.

Since the LG V20 appears to be the only device that will actually showcase the Android Nougat OS, it’s very possible that the rumored Nexus devices from Google codenamed Marlin and Sailfish will no longer be released in September.

Android 7.0 Nougat is confirmed to be rolled out to HTC devices in the last quarter of this year.

Sometime this fall, Google also plans to release its Daydream platform for mobile virtual reality.

A tweet this afternoon by David Ruddock of Android Police validates these rumors.

Reports out of Korea mention that the new Android Nougat platform will go out to Samsung flagships as early as in 2-3 months’ time after the rollout of the full version. This seals the deal for many, as David has a great track record of procuring solid information.

But Google did remove the feature in later Developer Previews, which means that it isn’t present on smartphones running the fifth Developer Preview or the stable version of Android 7.0 Nougat. You will find that Sony hasn’t included the 2014 Xperia Z3 in the above list.

Android 7.0 is this close to being launched, but people still have many questions about it. Another useful trick is pressing and holding on a notification to access the app’s settings, which makes things arguably more convenient. These Android Nougat security enhancements show that Google is continuing to take necessary steps to win over businesses, said Jeff Janovich, a software analyst at Carlisle Construction Materials in Carlisle, Pa., which supports employee-owned Android devices. In other words, the ROM is packed with issues that are pending to get fixed.
