Arsenal agree deals to sign Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi
Arsene Wenger denies Arsenal’s expected signings are panic buys as he gets set to welcome Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi to the Emirates Stadium.

Lucas Perez has reportedly passed a medical ahead of Arsenal move.
The Arsenal boss has come under pressure in recent weeks as fans have reacted angrily to his lack of investment in the transfer market, compared to other Premier League rivals, like Manchester City and Manchester United.
France Football say Arsene Wenger is watching Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal – heavily linked with the Blues this summer – although Le 10 Sport believe the Gunners won’t make a bid this summer. Asked if that would put to bed his reputation for being too reluctant to part with the club’s money, Wenger couldn’t resist a joke. “At the end of the season you will see if I made it”. The Germany global has been a solid performer at Valencia for two years and will bring an experience and presence at centre-back that Arsenal desperately need.
When questioned at a press conference held before tomorrow’s trip to Watford if the addition of Mustafi would affect Chambers’ future, the manager was quoted as saying by Arsenal’s official website: “Future? No”. What we spoke about many times, you are not the only one who decides about the timing.
“I am happy when our supporters are happy but my focus is on strengthening the squad in the right way”.
“He is now at an age where he needs to play more regularly and I don’t rule out that he comes back here and plays”.
Xisco scored once in 11 appearances in English football but Newcastle had to shoulder his wages for the full five years of his contract – albeit with the assistance of four loan spells, two of which were back at Depor.
“He has good link up qualities, good quality of receptions, good finishing qualities”.
The German global, who impressed at Euro 2016, is said to be costing the club about £10m more than Evans would have done.
“It was a odd transfer market”.
He added that he couldn’t let fan sentiment dictate his transfer decisions, saying: “I’m happy when our supporters are happy. I’m more optimistic than before but I can’t announce anything yet”.
“Not a lot has happened”.

“It looks like when you meet other clubs and you have (a player with) an English passport, you hit these prices which are very hard to understand compared to the quality of the players”. Everybody has sat on their pounds. “We don’t know too much on Ludogorets at this stage but Basel we will have to be cautious”.
