At least sixteen people were reportedly killed and several others injured after a massive fire broke out at a warehouse in northeast Moscow on 27 August.

Firefighters arrived at 8am (5am BST) on Saturday at the scene, where a blaze had engulfed 200 sq metres of a warehouse in an industrial zone to the north of the Russian capital. They also said that arson or negligence could have caused the fire.
Russian authorities said flames had cut off access to a room, which forced firefighters to destroy a wall in order to gain entry.
Moscow authorities along with law enforcement agencies will investigate the fire, Moscow’s Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
The ministry said on its website that 12 people were rescued.
“Preliminary data suggests that all of the victims were migrant workers who worked and lived at the warehouse”, a law enforcement source told TASS.
