“Takuma is a flawless addition for us up front”, Schindelmeiser told Stuttgart’s official website.

In a brief statement on their website, Arsenal simply confirmed the deal and stated that they wished Asano well in the coming season.

The 21-year-old has just joined the ranks at Arsenal in July 2016 but in the wake of the player’s failure to attain a work-permit to play in England, the club has made a decision to loan the player to the club, who is now in Bundesliga.2, Germany’s second division.

Takuma scored two goals in three appearances for South Korea in Rio after an impressive stint in Japan, where he twice won the J-League title. The winger starred in the nation’s otherwise disappointing campaign as he bagged 2 goals in the three matches played.

The 21-year-old failed to receive a visa to play in England, and so starts his career in Europe at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
