Marin Cilic Advances To Cincinnati Final, Will Play Andy Murray
epa05506004 Marin Cilic of Croatia celebrates with the Rookwood Cup after defeating Andy Murray of Great Britain in the final of the Western & Southern Open tennis championships at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason, near Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, 21 August 2016.

In the final, Murray will meet Marin Cilic who knocked off Grigor Dimitrov 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 in match that ended past 1:30am.
The win puts Murray into his third Cincinnati final after titles in 2008 and 2011 and ups his career-best win streak to 22.
Earlier, Murray defeated France’s Juan Martin del Potro 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 to clinch his second consecutive singles gold medal at Olympics in Rio de Janeiero.
“This season I won my first grand slam, everything what’s happened in the last months is just incredible”. I’ve needed it to be because I haven’t been feeling ideal.
That and Murray fatigue are the reasons to be backing Cilic today, with all the numbers favouring the Scot, who holds serve 10% more often than Cilic in this match-up.
Rafa Nadal is also in the event after winning gold in the Rio doubles and he came through 6-1 7-6 (7/4) against Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas.
Having flown to the USA from Rio on the same private jet as Rafael Nadal – who complained of injury and tiredness after his early exit in Cincinnati – Murray was playing in a final while hundreds of his fellow Olympic gold medallists were still in Rio ready to party at the closing ceremony. “Go I’ll go out there and give it a good go tomorrow and get a few days break before getting ready for NY”.
“I felt really, really good on the court this week – obviously it shows on the scoreboard”. I played great this week.
“Im definitely going to try to enforce those things, because these are the moments that I can really work on those things, incorporate those things, and hopefully overcome those things”.

Pliskova served out the biggest win of her career a game later on a second match point. A second set point happened after Murray got some help from the net, but this time, the Canadian couldn’t save it followed by a forehand unforced error. But I certainly didn’t expect to get to the final when I arrived here.
