Manchester United drawn into tough Europa League group

They beat Monaco at home in their Champions League play-off but ultimately lost out to the Ligue 1 side.

The 48 entrants are split into four seeding pots based on their club coefficients, with each of the 12 groups containing one team from each tier.

Group E: Viktoria Plzen, Roma, Austria Vienna, Astra.

Dundalk have been drawn in a group containing Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russian Federation, A.Z. Alkmaar of the Netherlands and Maccabi Tel-Avi of Israel in the Europa league.

Athletic Bilbao, will take on Italy’s Sassuolo, making their European debut this season, along with Genk and Rapid Vienna.
