Ann Coulter Trashes Trump on Twitter

Trump’s comments are the latest turn in a now-daily recalibration of his position on immigration, which Trump said he would crystallize in a speech next week.

“No”, Coulter said. “Rubio never wanted a wall”. “But they feel that throwing them out as a whole family when they’ve been here for a long time, it’s a tough thing”.

In fact, Coulter is such a big Trump fan that she’s just published a brand-new book called In Trump We Trust, in which she states that “there’s nothing Trump can do that won’t be forgiven… except change his immigration policies”.

After beginning his campaign asserting that Mexican immigrants “are rapists”, and are “bringing drugs”, Trump built an image as the one candidate who would expel immigrants in the country illegally, pledging a “deportation force” to send all 11 million home. He first suggested on Monday that he was open to allowing some immigrants to stay, suggesting that he wanted a “fair, but firm” policy.

The Republican nominee said he “would come out with a decision very soon” about deportations.

Asked if she would now be open to letting some illegal immigrants stay in the U.S., Coulter told the Hill, “The main thing is I don’t think we should be talking about them”.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh on Thursday noted the irony in Donald Trump being the person to persuade the Republican base into supporting amnesty.

GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa, a leading immigration hardliner, said in an interview that “I have some concerns at this point” over Trump’s stances. “And he’s been taking the counsel of many different people who tell him what is possible”, Conway said.

Trump was quick to ridicule his opponents.

“They have to pay taxes”. “I had a great meeting with great people, great Hispanic leaders, and there could certainly be a softening because we’re not looking to hurt people”. Trump seemed to be channeling “Little Marco’s” immigration plan when he posited that illegal aliens would have to pay “back taxes”.
