On Sunday, gymnast Simone Biles will receive the honor of carrying the flag in the Closing Ceremony.

“It’s an incredible honor”, Biles said.
Strength, of course, can’t be considered an issue.
Biles has had company celebrating – she says that in Rio, she had around 40 family members cheering her on. She scored a total of four gold medals, becoming the first American gymnast to accomplish that feat and one of only four women to do so in Olympic history.
As an undeniable breakout star these games, Biles was an easy choice for the Americans.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Simone carrying the flag for the USA during the Closing Ceremony?
She not only lived up to her reputation as the greatest female gymnast that ever lived, she cemented it.
Biles dominated women’s gymnastics at the Rio Games, her Olympic debut. “I also wish to thank the city of Rio de Janeiro, and the entire country of Brazil, for hosting an incredible Games”.
But after racking up four Gold medals in five attempts, Biles proved to be just as dominant in her sport.
A news release on the tour says performers at the exhibition will include Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman, who were all on the gold-winning team competition in Rio de Janeiro.

Her five medals matches marks set by Nastia Liukin in 2008, Shannon Miller in 1992 and Mary Lou Retton in 1984.
