Kanye West pens poem about McDonald’s, has intense fry-related feelings

No word if West has future plans to wax poetic about other eateries (maybe Kardashian-favorite In-N-Out is next?), but one thing’s for sure: the rapper has reached peak success, and we (and McDonald’s) couldn’t be more proud.

Kim has made her love of fast food clear in the past, and after writing about McDonald’s on her website recently she was rewarded with a designer purse filled with vouchers. While that gave us plenty to chew on, he upped the munchable content even further by giving us Boys Don’t Cry – a magazine that featured a poem about McDonald’s from one Kanye West.

West’s poem features anthropomorphized food, including some scheming French fries. “Like the beef in our burgers, our love for our fans’ creativity is 100 percent”. Except that the global restaurant chain was offended by West’s reference to the “artificial meat eyes” of its McRib sandwiches.

The way the rapper sees it, at least according to his poem, fries are kind of like the most popular kid in school, with perfectly coiffed hair and stylish clothes, who also makes you insanely jealous. “The french fries had a plan”.

“McDonalds Man McDonalds Man/The french fries had a plan/The french fries had a plan/The salad bar and the ketchup made a band”, the poem begins.
