There’s no denying that No Man’s Sky was the most anticipated new IP of 2016.

In the end these files could all be leftover legacy files from when No Man’s Sky was in early development, but here’s hoping we see the title hit Xbox One in the near future.

Developer Hello Games has not yet released the patch notes for the latest update but according to PlayStation Lifestyle, patch 1.04 will be downloadable at 605 MB. While he did not specifically state that they will now charge for DLCs, the Hello Games boss now do not rule out the possibility of a paid DLC. In response, Murray replied fairly carefully saying that he’s unsure if he’s “actually allowed to say” at the time, adding that he needed to be “very specific with my words”. The dev confirms that Hello Games is 100% committed to customer support issues right now, and will only move on to fresh content once all the bugs and performance glitches are ironed out.

Code found deep inside the game seems to suggest that new versions for the Xbox One and other platforms might be on their way. The PC patch was released on the experimental branch of the game on Steam, prior to a roll out to everyone.

One great feature is that you can name everything you discover in the game as long as you’re the first to go there or see it. We will make sure to update the piece with complete patch notes as soon as we obtain them.
