Heat and humidity sticking around; chance for rain and storms

Warmer conditions are expected for the weekend into next week, forecasters said, with only a slight chance of showers or thunderstorms for the most part.

By Sunday, a chance of showers and thunderstorms will be added to the mix, mainly after 4 p.m, with chances at 30 percent.

Saturday A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Passing showers and a few embedded thunderstorms are possible at times through the afternoon.

Tonight should be clear with temperatures around 70 in Boston.

Meanwhile, OPPD reported on its website early today that all power had been restored to its customers who had lost electricity late Tuesday during a rain and wind storm.
