Calvin Harris ‘in talks for The X Factor Judges’ Houses’

The new series of ‘The X Factor’ seems to have gotten off to an inauspicious start, after judges Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne failed to show up for the 13th series’ launch event this week.

On a different note, take a look below to get a fun behind-the-scenes look at the glam shoot featuring Simon, the judges, and host Dermot O’Leary in preparation for the new season.

In a stinging attack, the X Factor boss said female singers he’s worked with are more bothered about their own careers than finding new talent.

Cowell previously handed presenting duties to Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, but it was Murs’ gaffes that made the headlines.

However, sources told The Sun newspaper that Simon and Calvin have now put their feud behind them, and the Scotsman is in “advanced talks” to join Nicole Scherzinger for the Judges’ Houses round of the talent show.

“I don’t want to hang around in a wheelchair in a nursing home”. “I was delighted. I watched the show previous year and I didn’t think it was as good as it used to be”.

“I was just inspired to make a mockery of the show because it is a music competition, it is a joke and I think it should be treated as such.”

Did Simon Cowell have to grovel to get you to return? The pair hit it off when Nicole mentored Rylan on The X Factor back in 2012, and have remained good friends – even going out together.

Another change this year is that the large arenas have been ditched in favour of the small room auditions. They only become famous because they’ve been on the show and we got you those songs.

It’ll be a while before we get to this on the actual show.

“When you make a mistake on live television, it can be quite a lonely place to be sometimes and you just want the world to swallow you up. I was surprised”, he said.

“The ratings weren’t good”.

After the auditions are complete, the successful contestants move to the Bootcamp stage to battle it out before making it to the next round, the dreaded Six Chair Challenge. Here’s a teaser to whet your appetite…
