2 students to hospital after school bus, car wreck in Texas

The Northwest Independent School District bus, loaded with 45 students on their way to Pike Middle School, was hit by a driver pulling out of the Northwest High School parking lot.

Several students suffered minor injuries in an accident involving a loaded school bus and a vehicle at Northwest High School in far north Fort Worth, MedStar spokesman Matt Zavadsky said. No major injuries were reported, and students were safely evacuated.

A MedStar EMS spokesman says six students and two adults were treated at the scene for minor injuries. “All students and the bus driver are safe”. Pike Middle School and Northwest High are across the street from one another.
