The accident happened while a set was being dismantled on the soundstage at Budapests Origo Studios, Alcon Entertainment confirmed in a statement, according to the Entertainment Weekly.

There have been several other tragic on-set accidents lately. Dylan O’Brien was involved in a terrible incident on the set of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, which also almost took his life back in March 2016.

A construction worker has tragically been killed on the set of the highly-anticipated Blade Runner sequel.

The worker was working to disassemble the set. On August 25, production had already moved on to a new location and the leftover crew was charged with breaking down the sets.

Earlier this year, a court heard how Ford, 74, could have died on the set of the Millennium Falcon spaceship during the filming of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

In addition to Leto, Ryan Gosling, 35, has a leading role along with Robin Wright, 50, and series vet Harrison Ford, 73. The story picks up several decades after the conclusion of Ridley Scott’s 1982 original.
