Britney Spears returns with ninth studio album ‘Glory’

In addition to her much-hyped return to the MTV VMAs stage, Britney also announced this week that she’ll be heading to London for her first concert in Britain since 2011 as part of Apple Music Festival next month. I won’t do the men thing, or get married, I’m just done with men.

From her iconic 2001 Banana the Snake-wielding “I’m a Slave 4 U” dance, to her 2003 show=stopping turn onstage with Madonna (and THAT kiss!), Britney Spears has delivered some of the most legendary, controversial and exciting moments – as well as looks – in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards over the years.

However, it leaves out footage of her last performance in 2007, after which she was slammed for being out of shape, slow on stage and dancing like a “bad stripper”.

Asked how she’s feeling about her upcoming VMA show, the star said: “I still get very nervous [about the awards]”. You’re not alive [if you don’t].

Britney Spears may be a world-famous popstar with a Vegas residency but that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t get nervous about performing – especially when it comes to the 2016 VMAs, where she’s slated to perform her new single, “Make Me”, on Sunday, Aug. 28.

The singer also opened up about her appearance on James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” segment.

Michael Jackson pulled together a captivating 15-minute performance for the 1995 VMAs, four years after the Video Vanguard (Lifetime Achievement) Award was renamed after him to honor his ongoing contribution to the music biz.
