London Nightclub Fabric Needs Your Help
“Let’s all come together to ask Sadiq Khan, our new Mayor of London, who won our support on his pledges to save London’s Night Time Economy and Islington Borough council, to support our campaign”.

An online petition has been launched to help save the club’s feared closure.
The petition, which has attracted almost 50,000 signatures, was set up by Fabric promoter Jacob Husley, who described the potential closure of the club as “incredibly short-sighted response to a complex problem”.
Following the tragic deaths of two attendees at the well-renowned London nightclub, Fabric has had its operations suspended and its doors shut for the past two weeks, and is now set to have their license reviewed.
You can sign the petition here, and if you’re posting about it on social media, you’re encouraged to use the hashtags #SaveFabric and #nightlifematters.
In the petition, Husley praises the club’s family ethos, citing the example of the elderly Polish couple who on visiting Fabric in June described it as “the best club in London”. With more and more clubbing establishments going under for various reasons, it’s important to preserve such an important legacy that the European club scene has built over the years; creating a level of unity and comradery amongst the entire general population.
Jacob added: “No matter how old you are, rich or poor, colour or gender, you are welcome in the club and you will be looked after”.
In its 17 years of operating, Fabric has seen over 5,000 artists pass through its doors, and welcomed over 6million clubbers. “We have zero tolerance to drugs on the premises and, as recently as December a year ago, we were described by District Judge Allison in a court judgement as a “beacon of best practice” in managing this issue”. “As part of this we are independently reviewing all of our procedures to ensure that we have the best possible processes in place to keep our customers safe”. “Stop the closure of fabric.” petition on Change.org.

Now on an ongoing 28-day review that ends on September 6th, Fabric released an official statement yesterday concerning their drug procedures and hopes for future plans.
