Guardiola has no plans to stop Hart

Hart’s position became more complicated after Claudio Bravo arrived at City yesterday ahead of a £17million (S$30.24 million) transfer from Barcelona.

An emotional night for Joe Hart at the Etihad Stadium ended with him thanking Man City’s fans and lamenting the a “circus” of speculation. Barça are close to signing Jasper Cillessen from Ajax to replace Bravo. With the Everton manager, Ronald Koeman, telling Maarten Stekelenburg he signed him to be the No1, Hart would not be guaranteed to start even if he did agree to move.

Sterling’s return to form has not escaped the attention of new England manager Sam Allardyce.

Allardyce said on Monday: “In the end it is critical [that a player is playing]”.

“But as fast as it is possible for the ball to go, as fast as possible it can come back”.

“I know it looks like there is no sense in what I am going to say but it’s ‘almost.’ We are not in the Champions League, we have to respect our opponents and the best way is to do our job, to be serious, to try and win the game and keep going with what we practice”.

Hart is aware of this.

This could yet change but Hart has accepted he may not be able to move until the January window, at the earliest. The game, therefore, might give the 33-year-old an opportunity to see his new team-mates in action. It’s only been three games and I’m still settling in, but I feel fit and I just want to keep working with the team.

“When you play long balls, okay, you can win the balls, and maybe some times I have that experience”.

The 106-capped Chile global, 33, is four years older than Hart and five inches shorter and most experts in the game regard him as no better shot stopper. It’s not for, you know, a romantic issue.

‘You can not be brilliant when you disappear when you (don’t) have the ball. Have the ball is not because have the ball for have the ball.

“He has a chance to play”.

City look nearly certain to progress to the group stages of Europe’s premier club competition having earned a 5-0 lead over the Romanians in the first leg.

He told a news conference: “I can not deny what everyone knows, Barcelona was the first – one week or 10 days ago – who announced the contact with Manchester City”. ‘We will need him.

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has yet again demonstrated that he has firm belief in the potentials of his Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho.

“I can not deny what everyone knows”, added Guardiola.

Yaya Toure could feature for the first time under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City when they face Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League. “After we will speak about everything, and the situation with Joe I have spoken about that in the last two press conferences”.

“Unfortunately we had a penalty awarded against us at a key moment when I felt we were in the ascendancy and it knocked us sideways”, the Welshman said.

Regarding Bacary Sagna, who is believed to have hurt a hamstring, he said: “Sagna is not available”.
