“The biggest problem he had with Archer [School for Girls in Los Angeles] is the number of Jews that attend”, Piccard said in her statement, the newspaper reported.

Piccard further claimed in the declaration that Bannon wanted their daughters in a “strict structured Catholic school” and had threatened the school that he would sue it if their daughters were accepted.

The new campaign chief of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has been accused of being anti-semitic by his ex-wife, court documents revealed on Friday.

The court file has not been released yet, but the L.A. County Criminal Court’s database confirms that the criminal charges against Bannon were filed and ultimately dismissed.

It is understood that Mr Bannon no longer faces any proceedings relating to the 1996 case, but its revelation may complicate Mr Trump’s task as he seeks to woo wary women voters. As for Bannon, recent reports have dug up his divorce records and, along with them, allegations of domestic violence and anti-Semitism. After we saw Willows he asked me if it bothered me that the school used to be a Temple. As she tried to call 911, he grabbed the telephone and threw it, she alleged.

Piccard claims in the divorce papers: “Bannon made it clear that he would not marry me just because I was pregnant”. She said Bannon had told her the lawyer would make her look like the guilty party if she testified and the attorney told her she’d be broke if Bannon went to jail. This time for anti-Semitic comments he supposedly made in the ’90s during a legal battle with his ex-wife over where his children should go to school. Asked whether Piccard’s description of the attack and the threat were true, his spokeswoman, Alexandra Preate, declined to respond, adding that Bannon has “a great relationship” with his ex-wife and their daughters.

Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, she this week she doesn’t know if Trump was aware of Bannon’s domestic violence charges, leading The New York Times to conclude that Trump “Hires First and Deals With Background Questions Later”. This is somewhat ironic as Bannon is also facing criticism from Catholic groups in an unrelated controversy over a separate set of callous, racially-charged comments. Police eventually arrived at the scene and an officer report made note of the marks on Piccard’s neck and wrist.
