AT&T is starting to push out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software update to the Samsung Galaxy S5 today for any users that may still be running the older generation device as their daily driver. With AT&T just starting to send the Marshmallow update out to users, it marks almost a full three months since Verizon sent out their Marshmallow update to Galaxy S5 users, and almost two months after Marshmallow began hitting the Galaxy S5 Neo. Sprint pushed out Android 6.0.1 to Galaxy S5 owners in April, while T-Mo and Verizon joined the party in May. The phone carrier rolled out a OTA update for both of the above mentioned devices. And if you own a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, you’re in luck.

Of course, this is just great for people have been waiting for the Android 6.0 so long ago since the same smartphones model in other regions and carriers. However, besides these new features, this update also includes Wi-Fi calling, video calling and Android security updates. The Marshmallow update weighs from between 906MB to 907MB and in addition to coming in with v6.0.1 of the OS, it also adds the latest Android security patch level dated August 1.

The update file for Galaxy S5 sizes in between 938 MB and 955MB, specifically comes with build number MMB29M.G900AUCU4DPH2. This brings the build number of MMB29M.G870AUCU2DPH2 to the handset.
