Air quality plunges in Missoula, Ravalli County

Some of the smoke, according to Schmitt, is coming from the Wildhorse Point Fire, burning south of Huson.

The agency has issued an Air Quality Alert for all of Rhode Island except for Providence County.

Some rain on Friday fell around the state’s biggest fire, which has burned almost 21 square miles in Glacier.

Wildfires continue to pop up across the state, spreading ash and smoke across the region, but what does that mean for our air quality?
