Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) Starts Offering “NEMA 14-30” Charging Adapter Again
The Tesla Model 3 will also feature the P100D battery pack, a third generation company pack for all production vehicles. The upcoming electronic vehicle can run with up to 215 miles on a single charge. Just a couple of cars can take on that, consisting of LaFerrari and Porsche’s 918 Spyder. And as can be expected, this came as great news to many, especially those who’ve been interested in getting an electric auto for themselves, but were turned off by the price until now.

A Model S P100D with “Ludicrous mode” was billed by Tesla founder Elon Musk as one of the fastest accelerating production cars ever made, capable of going from zero to 100kmh in 2.7 seconds. Tesla President of Global Sales and Service, Jon McNeil, who frequently follows these forums, tweeted on Thursday that the adapters are back on the Tesla shop for accessories of Tesla Roadster Model S, and the Model X.
“It is a pretty big change on the battery module and pack technology”.
The Model S is done – well done, and it’s time for Tesla to move on to other things, notes a report from Business Insider.
The NEMA 14-30 charging adapter has a tag price of $45 and is compatible with the Tesla Mobile Connector.
Visuals have generally been a lower priority than performance in the design of Tesla’s cars, even though the company has always managed to get it right with every release, so it’s good to see that their designers still have enough freedom to come up with new approaches to the appearance of the vehicle.
On the company’s financial health, Tesla Motors Inc reported $-1.06 EPS for the quarter, missing the analyst consensus estimate by $ -0.41 based on the information available during the earnings call on Aug 3, 2016.
