It’s looking like the release of Hello Game’s vast exploration game, No Man’s Sky, is becoming a bit of a disaster.

Apparently not everyone was thrilled by their experiences in the space survival game, all kinds of reasons have been given for why.
Many outlets are reporting that getting a refund for No Man’s Sky from Sony (for those who purchased it through the PlayStation Store) is quite hard.
One of the recent issues people had with it was the game’s ending, saying it was perplexing.
Steam has its own refund policy in place that allows the user to refund a game provided they have played it for less than 2 hours, but in some special cases, they can allow the refund to be processed even if the user has played it for more than 2 hours.
“Just heard on a random twitch channel they’re giving refund so i gave it a shot even though I tried the day it came out, AND HOLY SH*T IT WORKED”.
I think it is safe to say that Hello Games has had a pretty rough week. “I received a full refund from Amazon on one of my two copies”, the user, unreqistered, said. “I’m not sure why it works for some and not others but no harm in just trying again”.

“It’s always frustrating to spend your hard-earned money on something, only to have it not meet your expectations”, the official PlayStation Policy reads. If you’re seeking a refund for No Man’s Sky, the trick seems to try to speak to an actual person and to keep trying if you’re not successful. I view video games as entertainment and a consumable product. Steam does have a more reasonable refund policy which guarantees to offer a refund if the game has been purchased within two weeks and has less than 2 hours total playtime, unless it’s clear you’re abusing the system. Hello Games are now working on No Man’s Sky’s Patch 1.06 and the update will feature a number of stability fixes, some glitch and exploit patches, as well as a series of gameplay alterations.
