Fujiwara established himself as a master of ring psychology during a wrestling career that lasted two decades, highlighted by his time in the WWWF and WWF, the predecessors to the WWE.

Fuji spent over 30 years entertaining fans worldwide as both an in-ring competitor and one of WWE’s greatest managers …

Fujiwara is a five time former WWF Tag Team Champion. He retired from the business in 1996 and was subsequently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.

Muraco and Fuji created takeoffs of popular TV series with Fuji Vice, Fuji General, Fuji Bandito and Fuji Chan.

While he remained out of the spotlight after leaving the WWF in the 1990s, Fujiwara left an impact on the sport that still resonates with many.

WWE extends its condolences to Fujiwara’s family, friends and fans. WWE announced his passing just a little while ago.
