Hillary Clinton’s Clinton Foundation scandal can’t be defended
State Department officials have said they are not aware of any agency actions influenced by the Clinton Foundation. “This is what happens in Third World countries”.

Although a conservative group investigating Hillary Clinton’s relationship with donors to the Clinton Foundation maintains that newly released emails prove she granted special “access” and “favors”, during her State Department tenure, nonpartisan experts say that Judicial Watch is right about the former but has not yet proven the latter.
It will take time to make the changes to each of the foundation’s affected programs, said Clinton Foundation President Donna Shalala.
Clinton called into Anderson Cooper 360 to discuss the recent negative press regarding the Clinton Foundation and allegations of pay-for-pay links with her State Department. She said that the public knows more about the Clinton Foundation than Trump’s wealth and his business interests.
“I am sure, and I am sure because I have a very strong foundation of understanding about the foundation” and the charitable work it has done, Clinton said in an interview with MSNBC on Friday.
The Associated Press reported that at least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had telephone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its global programs. In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Monday called for the Clinton Foundation to be shut down.
Yet the appearance of corruption, the obvious and inevitable conflicts of interests, and the unseemly arrangements that prompted that concession from the former president were equally clear when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.
What they say: Republicans want a special prosecutor to weigh corruption charges over the Clinton Foundation. “There are elements of the Clinton Foundation that people often don’t think about that stay forever”.
With friends like that, the Clinton Foundation is always in the money. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million.
An FBI spokesman said investigators had not vetted any of the emails for substance, instead turning them over to the State Department, which must now vet them for national security redactions before making them public under terms set forth by the judge overseeing the Judicial Watch lawsuit.
Trump also suggested that Clinton intentionally deleted emails to “cover up her crimes”.
Bill Clinton previously said that if Hillary Clinton is elected, the Foundation will not accept donations from foreign government and corporations.
It amounts to a loud “how dare you!” based on the assumption that the Clinton Foundation actually does good things.
A statement Clinton issued on Monday said those changes will go into effect if Hillary Clinton is elected.
And what moxie did it take for Clinton, upon leaving the State Department and biding her time before another presidential campaign, to go out and give highly paid speeches to corporate and financial interests, some totaling $250,000 for an hour or less?
The number of persons of interest involved in this suppurating scandal, which has gone from an illicit server, to a panoply of Clinton lies to the public that disgusted the Federal Bureau of Investigation director, to erased emails, to “pay for play”, and now deep into the Clinton Foundation continues to grow.
Will Bill Clinton Be a Part of the Foundation If Hillary Wins in November? He also noted the foundation’s work around the globe, including efforts to help improve Haiti’s sustainability, foster job training in Latin America and support farmers in East Africa.

Previous emails between Band and Abedin showed him requesting a meeting between a foundation donor and the USA ambassador in Lebanon, and inquiring about the possibility of a State Department job for another Clinton Foundation associate.
