Sergio Aguero could miss Manchester derby after elbow on Winston Reid

The Argentinean striker was pushed in the back, and in what appeared to be a retaliation he caught Reid in the face 15 minutes from the end of the victory over the Hammers.

“I didn’t see it, to be honest”, said the midfielder.

However, the FA could review the evidence from the match and ban Aguero retrospectively. I know he couldn’t talk in there.

Any ban would not affect his participation in Manchester City’s Champions League fixtures.

Aguero opened the scoring on matchday one against Sunderland before scoring twice against Stoke City last week to help maintain City’s 100 per cent record so far under Pep Guardiola. If we lose him, we lose him.

“I always respect the style of play every manager has”.

If he does get a ban he would miss the Manchester derby – the first time old rivals Pep Guardiola and United boss Jose Mourinho will face each other since joining their new clubs.

He would also miss the Premier League game with Bournemouth as well as their EPL Cup third-round clash with Swansea. I didn’t see so I can not comment.

“I reacted because we wanted to make a sub”.

“For me, the manager’s arrival is great, because with his way I’ll have more chances to score and hopefully we will be able to win more games”, he said. Winston was off and Calleri still didn’t come on. That was my discussion with them.

“I think he is okay. We are going to play with 11”.

“I am new here so I don’t know how it works”.

“I didn’t see it so I can not comment”, he told a news conference.

Raheem Sterling continued his rejuvenation this season with two goals – but Guardiola claimed the England winger was better in the previous games.

“It’s always better to win as much as possible”. “Of course we can improve – there is still room for improvement”.

He nonetheless believes the Spaniard has improved Manchester City, and is happy to continue under his tutelage.
