Britney Spears, James Corden sing her greatest hits on ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Britney Spears became the latest superstar to ride shotgun with James Corden on “The Late Late Show’s” newest edition of “Carpool Karaoke”. We reckon there will still be more than a few miming accusations, but there’s no doubt Britney enjoyed herself in the passenger seat.

However, the Vegas performer was definitely to be heard singing along to her hits – although (as YouTube commentators were quick to note) she wasn’t the most powerful singer in the auto. Open to interpretation, that one.

Corden replied: “I couldn’t think of many things worse than being tickled for a very long time”. We know what he’s getting at. Spears was more definitive when it came to talking about expanding her family – she wants three more kids, but is done with the idea of marriage.

Together James and Britney sang the likes of “Womanizer”, “Toxic” and “Make Me.’ (the latter from her new album “Glory”), but nothing beat their rendition of ‘.Baby One More Time”. I really don’t know.

Corden joined in on the fun with his own little costume, which Spears seemed to enjoy.

“You’re saying you don’t want to be with anyone, ever, the rest of your life?”

Corden then asked Spears, who’s well known for her provocative performances, if her children had seen her on stage. “I have to find the right guy first”.

She said: “Unfortunately, I am a hopeless romantic”. “I’m just done with men”.

She clarified that she might “French kiss someone” but is not going to marry again because she doesn’t believe in marriage anymore.

Britney follows in the footsteps of Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Michelle Obama by taking part in the hugely successful feature, though not everyone has been complimentary of her appearance.
