Hillary aide ‘middle man’ between foundation, State
Let’s recap what happened, beginning with Comey’s announcement on July 5 that the FBI had completed its investigation of Clinton’s use of personal email for government business while secretary of state.

While the meetings do not appear to violate any legal agreements, they do call into question Clinton’s ethical judgment at a moment when the Clinton Foundation is under increased scrutiny.
Here is a rundown of what is known about the future for the foundation. Aboussie and Abraham are also among Clinton’s campaign bundlers who’ve raised at least $100,000.
“The foundation undoubtedly does worthwhile work”. But the project, which has provided access to HIV/AIDS drugs for more than 11.5 million people in more than 70 countries, has not yet said whether it will continue to accept corporate and foreign donations. “I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to say that”.
In this June 10, 2015 file photo, former U.S. President Bill Clinton speaks at annual gathering of the Clinton Global Initiative America, which is a part of The Clinton Foundation, in Denver. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., is greeted by S. Daniel Abraham at Princeton University in Princeton, N.J. More than half the people outside the government who met wit.
Clinton leads Trump in national and state polls, leaving many of her aides and supporters to conclude that addressing the issue isn’t worth the risk to her electoral standing. “While it would be presumptive to assume a victory in November, now that Hillary is her party’s nominee, it would be irresponsible not to plan for it”.
Pushing back, Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said the AP report relied on “pretty flawed methodology” and said in an interview with MSNBC on Wednesday that Clinton was being held to a different standard than other politicians with charitable work. “This whole email controversy, which has dogged her and her campaign for a long time, I suspect would have been a much smaller controversy if a year ago, she had used language like that”, Himes said. What Other Changes to the Foundation Will There Be If Hillary Wins? She shouldn’t wait to cut her ties to the foundation.
The Clintons, while denying any wrongdoing, have planned a series of changes – including refusing to accept foreign and corporate contributions and shifting some of its programs to other charities – created to reduce appearances of impropriety if Hillary Clinton wins the 2016 presidential race. Now you “might” be able to get access without contributing to the foundation but you “would” get access with a contribution.

Not all changes will be behind the scenes, however. Some emails that surfaced on Monday were held back by Ms. Clinton from the FBI that investigated the case regarding a private server that she used while in office. While Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, interests, some foreign, made big donations to the foundation and/or paid Bill enormous fees for speeches at the same time they were seeking favorable consideration from the US government.
