Many may not know because of former Buckeyes defensive lineman Joey Bosa’s dominance while at Ohio State, but Lewis led the team with eight sacks last season.

The Buckeyes begin its season September 3 against Bowling Green. No word as of yet as to what the 6-foot-4, 195-pounder might have done to incur the wrath of the university.

Sean Nuernberger, the Buckeyes’ No. 1 kicker, will miss the opener because of injury.

HC Urban Meyer is at odds with the decision, saying, “It was not from the football program or the athletic department”.

Ohio State’s depth at wide receiver took a hit Monday when the university announced that Torrance Gibson (American Heritage-Plantation) has been suspended from school for unspecified reasons.
